CHAPTER POLICY
MEETING CHARGES

The Board of Directors shall determine the charge to be made at regular meetings of the Chapter. The charge shall be determined as the lowest convenient charge which can be made which will ensure that the cost of the meeting (including any ancillary costs, charges or fees, such as, but not limited to, room charges, audio-visual charges, duplication costs, etc.) does not exceed the income generated by attendance at the meeting.

The Board may, at its sole discretion, determine that differing charges may be made for members and for non-members, and that additional charges may be imposed on attendees who have not reserved for their attendance at the meeting. In addition, the Chapter shall impose a charge on all parties who do not attend a meeting after making a reservation if and only if the net income from the meeting is exceeded by the expenses of the meeting. The net income from a meeting shall be determined by subtracting from the income generated by attendance at the meeting those costs directly attributable to the meeting, and shall include the cost of any attendance incentive paid at the meeting. The charge to be made in such event shall not exceed the charge which would have been made for attendance at the meeting, but may be less than that amount at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

The Chapter Treasurer shall keep record of attendance at the meetings, and of non-attendance by members or guests who have reserved space at the meeting but who do not attend.

The charges for any Special Events (such as Associate Appreciation Day, the Annual Seminar, and the Golf Tournament) hosted by the Chapter shall be determined by the Board of Directors. Attendance at such events shall be open to such members of the Chapter and such guests as shall be authorized by the Board of Directors, and may be restricted by class of membership. Reservation for attendance at such events shall be accompanied by payment in full for such attendance, unless reservations without payment is expressly authorized by the Board of Directors.
