SAN DIEGO RIMS RISK MANAGER OF THE YEAR

"The Heart of RIMS" Award was established in 1997 to recognize individual achievement at the chapter level. The award is presented to deputy members who exhibit qualities which further risk management at the chapter level. Through these individuals' actions they keep the chapter and the discipline of risk management vibrant and resilient. As such, these chapter and risk management role models are best described as being representative of "the heart of RIMS."

LIZ ZEPEDA

Liz looks great in the green jacket! Liz Zepeda, Vice President for Brookfield Homes, was nominated and selected by her peers as the 2004 recipient of the Heart of RIMS Award.

Liz certainly contributes to our chapter as well as the discipline of Risk Management. She currently serves as a Director on the San Diego Chapter Board and is the Insurance Committee Liaison as well as the Golf Committee Chairperson. She has been past chapter Secretary as well as a past recipient of the Risk Manager of the Year award. Liz is always looking for ways to educate our members and she is definitely vibrant and resilient.

CINDY TITGEN

Cindy is the Benefits Manager for the City of Escondido. Along with serving as a Board member, she is also the Membership Director. Among her many contributions to the chapter, Cindy has committed her time to following up with guests at monthly meeting and updating the membership database.
