Senior Risk Management Analyst

The Senior Risk Management Analyst is a key member of the Risk Management team supporting all of Roll Global’s business units which include FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Paramount Agribusinesses, Justin Vineyard and Winery, Teleflora, Suterra and Neptune Shipping. We are seeking an ambitious and hands-on professional who is keen to build a career in Risk Management and to belong to a team with an energetic, passionate and performance-based environment. We are looking to fast-track the successful candidate into a larger role as a Risk Manager within 6 to 18 months of hire.

Relocation Assistance is available for highly qualified candidates.

Reporting to Director, Risk Management, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the company’s various insurance program renewal processes for all commercial insurance lines including Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Management Liability, Property insurance, Stock Through-Put, Ocean Marine, Political Risk, Aviation Liability, Fine Arts, and foreign policies.

  •  Assist internal customers through active listening and by providing technical consulting, training, and support on risk management and insurance related matters.

  •  Advise on contract terms and conditions including due diligence review of acquisitions and dispositions.

  •  Responsible for risk management data management, historical data recovery and integration, and a possible migration to a RMIS.

  •  Report claims to insurers, preserve rights of recovery, and argue for coverage as necessary.

  •  Coordinate claims and litigation. Develop and collaborate successful partnerships between associates, insurance brokers, counsel, and third party administrators (TPAs).

  •  Move claims toward closure and/or mitigate circumstances including review and approval of loss runs and reserves.

  •  Prepare risk and loss data analytical reports/presentations for senior management.

  •  In-depth analysis of loss information to proactively identify trends and prevent/mitigate future losses.

  •  Assist business units with identification of key claims performance metrics and management development, including incident reporting.

  •  Ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  •  5+ years of progressive working experience in a corporate risk management department setting which includes insurance procurement, claims management and analysis, or a combined 7+ years of experience in an insurance company, commercial insurance broker, or a corporate risk management department.

  •  BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or an analytical discipline (e.g. Accounting/Mathematics/Engineering/Sciences).

  •  Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and/or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or having completed at least two CPCU courses to date.

  •  Advanced experience in Microsoft Office products required, especially Excel (e.g., use of formulae, Pivot Tables, data queries, macros, graphs, ranges, financial functions, conditional statements, lookups); experience with Access desired.

  •  Results-oriented and hands-on team player who possesses excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and persuasive skills.

  •  Workers’ Compensation claims experience or an MBA degree highly desirable, but not required.
