The Risk Management Manager is a key member of the Risk Management team supporting all of Roll Global’s business units which include FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Paramount Agribusinesses, Justin Vineyard and Winery, Teleflora, Suterra and Neptune Shipping. Reporting to the Director, Risk Management, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage the company’s various insurance program renewal processes for all commercial insurance lines including Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Management Liability, Property insurance, Stock Through-Put, Ocean Marine, Political Risk, Products Recall, Aviation Liability, Fine Arts, and foreign policies.

Continually assess risk and obtain necessary exposure information for all commercial insurance lines.

Manage a robust loss and premium allocation system for the organization. Administer insurance and claims budget recommendation process.

Assist internal customers through active listening and by providing technical consulting, training, and support on risk management and insurance related matters.

Advise on contract terms and conditions including due diligence review of acquisitions and dispositions.

Responsible for risk management data management, historical data recovery and integration, and a possible migration to a RMIS.

Oversight of claims and litigation for which the Company has insurance coverage or self-insured retention, in partnership with Legal and applicable operating units, including development of policies and procedures, performance standards, claims review and audits.

Develop and collaborate successful partnerships between associates, insurance brokers, counsel, third party administrators (TPAs), internal business partners, and external service providers.

Prepare strategic and high level risk and loss data analytical reports/presentations for senior management.

In-depth analysis of loss information to proactively identify trends and prevent/mitigate future losses.

Assist business units with identification of key claims performance metrics and management development, including incident reporting.

Monitor and review processes to ensure risk and compliance arrangements are in place.

Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:

7+ years of progressive working experience in a corporate risk management department setting which included insurance procurement, claims management and analysis, or a combined 10+ years of experience in insurance industry which includes 5+ years of experience in a corporate risk management department.

BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or an analytical discipline (e.g. Accounting/Mathematics/Engineering/Sciences).

Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and/or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or having completed at least three CPCU courses to date.

Advanced experience in Microsoft Office products required, especially Excel (e.g., use of formulae, Pivot Tables, data queries, macros, graphs, ranges, financial functions, conditional statements, lookups); experience with Access desired.

MBA degree highly desirable, but not required.

Results-oriented and hands-on team player who possesses excellent communication, negotiation and persuasive skills.

Strong analytical capabilities; must be able to assemble and manipulate large quantities of data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Be decisive, adept at coaching, counseling and problem resolution, and exercise mature judgment.

Travel requirements are limited, and mostly within California.
