ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The Chapter strongly encourages all members to serve on at least one Chapter Committee.  To encourage committee members to meet regularly, the Chapter reimburses each Committee up to $200 per year for meal expenses directly related to committee meetings.

Active Member is defined as a member of the Committee who demonstrates a commitment to the goals of the committee as well as participation in a majority of the activities of the committee, and who has contributed to the accomplishments of the committee.  Active Members will be designated by the Committee Chair.

SUBMISSION:

The submission must be legible, and accompanied by a validly signed submission form (available at the Chapter’s website).  The submission should be provided in a format that facilitates copying, without the use of staples or binders (paper or spring clips are acceptable), preferably one sided and without unnecessary color embellishment.  If a Committee wishes to provide color materials, or to bind their submission, five (5) copies must be provided to the judges by the Committee.   The task force will make all reasonable effort to meet in time to judge the submissions prior to the Annual Board Retreat if possible, and will announce the winner at the January Meeting.

JUDGING:

A Task Force will judge the submissions.  The members of the Task Force will be selected from those available who are not actively involved with any of the Committees being judged.  The current President  may vote ONLY to break a tie in the judging.  The Task Force will consist of not less than three, nor more than five members.
