SAN DIEGO RIMS
COMMITTEES
LEGAL / LEGISLATIVE |
PURPOSE:
To furnish information relating to case law, legislation, and regulations
affecting the risk management discipline. This committee acts as
liaison with RIMS National Government Affairs staff / committee and
coordinates its activities with regional RIMS committees.
GOALS:
- Present recent case law developments at RIMS meetings.
- Arrange publication of articles in RIMSAIL.
- Organize mini-seminars / roundtables.
- Coordinate activities with Governmental Affairs concerning new
legislation / regulations.
- Assist in providing speakers for meetings / seminars.
- Provide RIMS members with resources for special legal and regulatory
issues.
